    Terms of Service

    These Terms govern access to and use of LiveFox ("the Service"). By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms.

    1. Accounts

    Organisers create accounts and may invite other organiser roles (admins, moderators, instructors). Attendees do not create accounts.

    You are responsible for account security. Account passwords must be at least 8 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter and one number.

    To protect accounts against credential sharing, sign-ins are limited to 3 different IP addresses per account. Contact support if you need your allowed devices reset.

    2. License

    We grant a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service during an active subscription. You may not:

    • Resell access
    • Reverse engineer the platform
    • Access another user's data

    3. User Responsibility

    Organisers are responsible for:

    • Data entered by their organisation
    • Free-text input submitted by attendees
    • Compliance with their local data laws
    • Ensuring their users follow our Acceptable Use Policy

    We may remove content or suspend access for security or legal reasons.

    Enterprise customers acting as data controllers are covered by our standard Data Processing Agreement, available on request from support@golivefox.com.

    4. Free Trial

    New users receive a 14-day free trial. No charges apply until the trial ends.

    5. Billing and Cancellation

    Subscriptions may be monthly or annual and are processed by Stripe.

    Subscriptions are billed in GBP, USD or EUR based on your location at sign-up.

    Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

    All fees are non-refundable once a billing period starts.

    6. Payment Processing via Stripe

    Stripe handles all payment processing. Use of Stripe is subject to its own terms.

    7. Availability

    We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.

    8. Intellectual Property

    LiveFox retains ownership of the platform. Organisers retain ownership of event content.

    9. AI Features

    The Service includes AI-powered tools that may generate quiz questions, summaries, content suggestions, and sentiment analysis based on user inputs and event data.

    AI-generated outputs:

    • Are provided for informational and engagement purposes only
    • May be inaccurate, incomplete, or subjective
    • Should be reviewed and validated by organisers before use

    LiveFox does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content.

    Ownership of AI Inputs and Outputs

    You retain ownership of any content or data you submit to the Service.

    To the extent permitted by law, LiveFox does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs. You are responsible for how AI-generated content is used, shared, or relied upon.

    Prohibited Use of AI Features

    You must not use AI features to:

    • Generate unlawful, misleading, harmful, or discriminatory content
    • Process sensitive personal data without a lawful basis
    • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
    • Attempt to misuse, probe, or reverse-engineer AI systems

    LiveFox may suspend or terminate access for misuse of AI features.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • The Service is provided "as is"
    • No liability for indirect or consequential loss

    Some U.S. states do not allow certain liability exclusions; applicable laws take precedence.

    11. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    You may terminate your account by contacting support.

    11a. Seats and billing changes

    The Individual plan covers one user: the account owner. The Team plan includes 5 user seats. Additional seats are available on the Team plan only, are billed on the same cycle as your base subscription (monthly or annual) and renew on the same date.

    • Individual to Team — takes effect immediately. The prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing period is charged at the time of the change, and the full Team price applies from your next renewal. Your renewal date does not change.
    • Team to Individual — takes effect at your next renewal date. You keep Team access, including all seats, until then. From the change date only the account owner can sign in; other users' accounts are deactivated and all quizzes, sessions and analytics are retained. No refunds or credits are issued for the current period.
    • Adding seats — the prorated cost for the remainder of the current billing period is charged immediately, and the new full amount applies from your next renewal.
    • Removing seats — takes effect at your next renewal date. Access to the removed seats continues until then. No refunds or credits are issued for the current period.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by:

    • Laws of England and Wales for international users
    • Applicable federal and state laws for U.S. users

    California residents may benefit from California consumer protections.
